A file member can either be opened via the context menu or with a double click on the member in the Remote Explorer view. The member can be locked on edit (see editor preferences). The content of the ZIP archive needs just to be extracted at the desired location for the application. The extraction is the whole installation process. There needs nothing more to be done.</description>

There has been some Problems with Eclipse on Ubuntu 9.10, f. e. clicking on buttons are sometimes not working.

This is due to a changed behaviour of the underlying graphics and widget library GTK+. See the following links:

There is no stdbool.h on the system. bool is a type in the C++ language. There is no equivalent in C. I have created my own with the following code:
